What to Bring for Memory Care: Preparing for Your Move
Moving into a memory care community is a meaningful step toward safety, enrichment, and peace of mind. At Cedar Hill’s Judith Brogren Memory Care Center, residents can choose from bright private or semi-private rooms, each with large windows overlooking beautifully landscaped grounds. Private rooms include spacious bathrooms with granite-topped vanities and showers, while semi-private rooms offer a thoughtfully designed layout with divided sleeping areas and shared bath facilities. We strongly encourage residents to bring cherished furnishings and belongings—favorite chairs, artwork, family photos, or cozy quilts—to create a familiar, comforting environment that supports memory, identity, and emotional well-being.
