Victorian House offers licensed residential care services in a carefully renovated, lovingly restored turn-of-the-century home. This "Grand Old Lady's " gracious ambiance and tastefully appointed decor of a bygone era have been brought back to life.

Residents have many spacious common areas, each with its own unique ambiance, to enjoy and use for quiet reflection, relaxation, or socializing with neighbors and visitors. Their choices include two beautiful living rooms, one offering a working fireplace, a bright sunlit 3-season porch complete with comfortable wicker furniture, a cozy library, a tastefully decorated dining room, "parlor" rooms for games and handicrafts, and, of course, a large welcoming outdoor patio overlooking the Connecticut River.

We have private and semi-private rooms. Some rooms have fireplaces equipped with firelights. All rooms have private baths and emergency call systems. We encourage residents and families to personalize their rooms with their own furnishings, photographs, art work and other belongings.

The goal of our Assisted Living Program at Victorian House is to give the necessary support and assistance with the tasks and activities of day-to-day living so each resident can continue living an independent, productive and meaningful life. Residents can then focus their energy on enjoying and participating in our social and recreational programs, which we design to promote their individual lifestyles and quality of life. Residents feel relaxed and comfortable, assured of a supportive and secure environment.
