Medical Care

At the health care center, we provide 24-hour nursing care. We have registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and licensed nursing assistants, as well as other staff that help with your personal care.
 
Residents may keep their own doctors, as long as they are willing to make house calls. You may also choose to use doctors who work specifically with Cedar Hill and its residents. We have licensed dentists, podiatrists, registered rehabilitation specialists, and other health care professionals who work with our residents and staff.

Pharmacy

Cedar Hill has a contractual agreement with a pharmacy that specializes in providing medications and consultation to long-term care facilities.

Nutritious Meals & SupplEments

We provide all meals and have a registered consulting dietician.

The quality of our food is important to residents, family and Cedar Hill. We eat here too! For breakfast, we might offer cream of wheat, fried eggs, sausage and toast. For our mid-day main meal, we might serve baked lasagna, shepherd's pie, roast beef, beef stew with biscuits, roast pork or "the catch of the day." In the summer, we have weekly midday BBQs on our terrace.

For supper, we serve lighter fare. We often serve a soup -- corn chowder and cream of broccoli are popular -- with a salad plate or a sandwich. In the summer, we have weekly BBQs on our terrace.

Laundry Service

We have a laundry service for personal clothing.

SALON

Cedar Hill has a hair salon on site. We bring in a licensed cosmetologist weekly.

Small Pets

We allow our residents to have small pets. We have a special charge to care for each pet. If you would like to bring a pet to Cedar Hill, please speak with us about it. We are a pet-friendly facility.
